because I'm your weather man

I have become alerted to presence of people among us that believe it will rain. I, being a moderately well trained meteorologist, have decided to let everybody in on a secret, it will not rain until about 10pm, and even then it will be weak. Anybody who can't stand the heat outside is weak as well, for I spent a good two hours biking in the afternoon and only needed to consume 2 litres of water. That is the proper way to spell liter by the way, "litre" is how the french - who invented the nearly superiour unit system. The lack of BPUs in the lexicon of Système international d'unités. The french rock. Lance Armstrong took performance enhancing drugs, as did the recent dude to win, they need to stop lying and Americans need to stop being patriotic about cheating just because it is a French race race. The French are awesome and as I have pointed out many times they are the country most similar to ours in the world right now, as neither of us as any sense of detente.

Is the same thing as wunderground.com who I had been using but found el gobierno did it better and with no adds. Also the title to this is an allusion/illusion to the film "groundhog day", more specifically its opening song.

Today I took pictures of ducks sitting on a sandbar in lake nokomis, I am bothered about why it is there, I think it has to do with the overflow ponds, it was near the...I got to go....

Max, el libro

Max, my problem is that the book is still listed as being checked out, so I still wonder what the problem is?

MAX,you are incompetent

max, you have yet to return tipping point, as it was due Thurdsay the 27th as I had told you. The late fine is up to sixty cents, but that is not the biggest problem. Max, when you do this (pull this kind of stunt) it reflect poorly on me. You see, thanks to the patriot act, the government has a right to see what kind of books I have been checking out, but not only that, they have access to my late fee records. For all I know some credit reporting agency takes that information from the NSA. Even if it doesn't, it still is a asshole thing to do. I let you borrow a book that I took out and all you had to do was return it to Washburn by the 27th. I am sorry if you were busy, but that is not a proper reason for not returning the book. So my advice to you is to return said book. I know it is difficult going ALL THE WAY over to the library. But come on. By the way you owe me money for the late fee. I want a full dollar, the paper kind, I will not accept anything less. This is because I now have to hall my ass down to the library and pay said fee. I don't care about the extra forty cents, I will probably just tell them to keep it or else let it fall out of my pocket. My problem is that you seem extremely challenged by such a simple task of moving a book from point A to point B, in this case to clarify since you seem to have trouble with the issue: point A is where the book is now, and point B is the Washburn library returns counter. It better be in good enough condition to return, I would normally assume that, but then again with you it seems I can't assume the obvious, as I had assumed that you could return a book, which most people don't have trouble with. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, well, that is not going to happen. As a clarical side note, I didn't tell you it was last thursday that it was due, I believe I told you it was Wednesday, so add another day to the total. It baffles me that returning a book is so difficult. Perhaps all the guitar playing has left your arm incapable of lifting a book onto a counter and perhaps you went to the library several times but were unable to bring the book to the height of the counter. So in conclusion, please return the book I lent you before I reach my tipping point.

Noche

anyone up for something tonight?

biodiesel, more like bullshitdiesel

The United States has 434,164,946 acres of farmland, including grazing land,
Now, the United States consumes 230 billion gallons of oil a year,
so to use biodiesel, we would need to get 529.75 gallons out of every acre of farmland,
the problem is that the most efficient crop is Jatropha, which yields less than 200 gallons per acre, before processing costs. I am ignoring the theoretical 650 gallons per acre of palm trees because most parts of the country can not grow them. Not to mention the fact that even using some genetically engineered palm trees we would still be left with almost no land left to farm for...food, that other thing we need. So, anybody, cough, who tells you biodiesel is good for the environment is a liar, because it would kill off our most valueable resource for the future, soylent green.

this will probably suck

from the writer of "total recall"
with the director of jack black's opus "school of rock"
comes a film edited like the sucktoberfest "waking life"
produced partially by plays-by-his-own-rules-fake-"ER"-doctor George Clooney
creating rave review like "garish, haunting animation but no story line"
possessing a name that makes me angry at english,
and the psuedo-intellectuals that named it,
in a unpretentiously pretentious way,
so that we think they are smart and above our level,
while really they have no idea what to name something like this:
a scanner darkly
2:20 4:40 7:10 9:30
uptown

any ideas?

I think nick wants to go to the 9:30 showing

disc golf

1 pm

kaposia, north valley, acorn, highland, bryant lake, or edina (joking). My vote is for kaposia, it is shaded and interesting without being completely wooded - more like old highland. Vote for it and we will go where we can get some consensus. Right now I am going with Me, nick, nathan, and max on board, tell me if otherwise, or if we need to do it later or ealier in the day, remember it is generally cooler in the morning.

...texas ranger

Saturday, today, the walker is free, the first saturday of the month always is, so I am going, irregardless of who else is going, but if you want to join me, then call me (612-four18-three424) , any person is welcome, even greg, we will meet me at 1pm, I have yet to see the new walker, so it will be interesting, I hope, at least see my old friends. By the walker, I mean the walker art museum, the one by the old guthrie, by the cherry and spoon...anyways, be there or view the abstract square sculptures in your own time.
